Y'shtola

The two of them were friends as young children, but quickly grew apart once Y'shtola began her apprenticeship under Master Matoya. On first joining the Scions, Pyr kept their distance, taking her curt demeanor as a sign of disinterest. Even after their Echo and skill on the battlefield brought them into relevance within the Scions, they thought her most concerned with how best to make use of them. It surprises them, then, when she expresses deep worry for their wellbeing. Pyrciel is touched she cares, but secretly frustrated Y'shtola rarely address problems not physical in nature.

Thancred

They got along very much in spite of Thancred's general act, probably because it was rarely directed at them. The few instances it was, they understood any playfulness as a levity neither of them really felt, but needed. Pyr also appreciated when he would speak frankly, and felt they could depend on it when it truly counted. Yet their relationship deteriorated after he learned of Minfilia's fate, blaming them for failing to keep her safe.

On the First, Pyr was hardly impressed with his treatment of Ryne, and he was likewise aggravated by their affinity for Emet-Selch. He confronted them on the matter; the influence the Ascian seemed to be gaining worried him, and the First *could not* afford them going astray. He warned them to shut him out, and focus. That's their lot, the both of them: do as duty demands, no matter the cost, until it kills them. It's a truth he accepted for himself long ago.

Pyr knew by then the danger the light posed. And still, they were marching obediently to their end, felling the lightwardens as was asked of them. That this was not enough infuriated them; so what if they have some indiscretion on the way out? Was not even that choice left to them? Thancred was warned; cease, or they would forever know they were not a comrade, but a tool to be kept sharp and stowed away. He did not back down, and that was that.

Eventually, Thancred sought to bury the hatchet; he no longer felt chained to misery, and perhaps neither should they. Pyr is still wary, but they can speak with relative ease now.

Urianger

Pyr initially found him a little odd, as most do, but brilliant and pleasant when not consumed in his books. They were fond of working with him, keen to support his and Moenbryda's research into the Ascians, even if the hopelessness of their own developing attachment was clear. After the banquet, Pyr turned to him for direction, finding him a much-needed point of calm and steadiness in the storm.

His deception surrounding the Warriors of Darkness wounded them, but they had sympathy for the delicate situation he'd been placed in. That he lied once again on the First, and worse, refused to speak once confronted, has left them entirely unwilling to trust his words.

In times since, he's made attempts to speak earnestly with Pyr, as a comrade and to offer a listening ear. Yet, they cannot help but remember how he would do or say most anything he deemed necessary for the greater good. And, given their strength, they know this could easily apply to words in service of maintaining their health and readiness to fight. As badly as Pyr wants to accept his entreaties, they refuse to give him the chance at manipulating them once again.

Alphinaud

Pyr found him haughty and bit annoying at first, but accepted that he was young and would, hopefully, grow out of it. It did not take long; his unwavering resolve to save all he could, despite now knowing the cost of trying, was proof enough. His convictions are a source of strength for Pyr and keep them going through the Scions' many struggles, much as they wish they weren't needed.

Alisaie

Pyr understands Alisaie's distaste for politics and preference for going out there and doing what needs to be done, truly. They just wish she was perhaps a *bit* less eager and impulsive about it. Knowing her risk-taking nature, Pyr tries to keep an eye on Alisaie so they might aid her in a pinch. This frustrates her at times, but Pyr simply considers it a part of knowing their comrades and strategizing effectively with them in mind. Alisaie, meanwhile, worries over the burdens placed on Pyrciel, and tries to prevent the load from becoming too much. They wish they were strong enough not to concern her with their problems, young as she is.

Estinien

Estinien did not terribly impress them, but softened after Alphinaud began to bond with the man. Now, they deeply respect the man he chose to become since learning the truth of the Dragonsong war. They can confide in each other, Estinien's intuition and lack of judgement making him one of the few Scions Pyr feels they can speak honestly to.

G'raha Tia

His excitability for the concept of adventuring was a little tiring for Pyr, who did not really get his envy for the role they played in battle. Pyr envied him in turn, having so established himself in a field he enjoyed. Yet in quieter moments, away from their respective roles, they did find some level of connection.

They haven't forgiven him for withholding so much as the Exarch, and still wonder if things might have gone differently had they known the truth. There's a great deal of hurt and resentment, and though G'raha is not alone in the blame: he *is* the one here and alive to take it. It's a burden he readily accepted as the Exarch, having resigned himself to their ire and made peace with it long ago. But the more distant his time on the First grows, the less inclined he is to play such a role.

Communication is difficult, Pyr harboring lingering anger and distrust. In the event Hades and Hythlodaeus choose to live after Ultima Thule, Hades's presence brings the contention to the forefront.

Tataru

Pyr admires her shrewd judgement, and is eased by her kindness, finding it easy to chat with her. They especially enjoy sitting in on her work concerning the logistical side of running the Scions, and wishes they had more opportunities to do so.

Krile

Pyr finds her penchant for adopting the role of 'exasperated wiser elder sister' a bit grating, but they can work together. And he understands Krile's urge to tease Alphinaud, at least.
